ATS pneumatic tube weld tester

Function

The ATS device is involved in a destructive frequency control which consists in raising the internal pressure of the tube, by external compression. It highlights the leaks and micro-leaks by applying the solder. The shapes of the presser, the pressure exerted and the points of support depend on the tubes and materials tested. ACRN, with 20 years of experience in the field, can guide you through these adjustments. Thanks in particular to its intuitive design and these various accessories, it allows the operator to perform a repeatble test and verifies the integrity of the weld by the absence of leaks under the effect of a crushing force applied to the sample to be tested. After setting the time delay and opening the ATS door, place the sample, close the door, the cycle starts automatically. As a reminder, it allows to two kinds of tests to be set up:

• Micro-leak test which increases with pressurization and causes bursting
• Burst test to determine the strength of welds.
